October 7, 2020Dr. Margie “Niki” Tucker joined the Pediatric Cardiology Center of Oregon in the summer of 2020. She earned a Bachelor of Science in biology and received her medical degree at the University of Louisville. She completed her pediatrics residency at Norton Children’s Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. From there, she traveled to St. Louis where she completed her pediatric cardiology fellowship at Washington University at St. Louis Children’s Hospital. Prior to joining Pediatric Cardiology Center of Oregon, she practiced general pediatric cardiology at Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital where she was awarded the Outstanding Teacher of the Year and named one of the top pediatric cardiologists in Indianapolis.
As a fellow, she developed an interest in echocardiography including transthoracic, transesophageal and fetal echocardiography. Dr. Tucker enjoys caring for patients and their families in both the hospital and office setting and makes it her goal to help families become experts on their child’s heart condition.
She is excited to explore her new home in the Pacific Northwest and all the opportunities it provides. She loves spending time outside hiking, rock climbing and SCUBA diving.
